Journey

And so the lone travel saw the vast desert expand in all directions. Large rolling hills of sand towered high into the sky as if they were placed by god himself to distract travelers. The sun and the dry clouds of dust and sand covered the sky making a holy sheen of light glare off them as they blew in the wind.

Red was his cloak and his face unkown, his eyes pierced the very dry clouds that blew through him. His cloak flapped and waved violently as he marched through the sand, every step wearing down his spirt.

It had been a long time since he had saw something other then the desert he crossed. He was tired. He was alone. Then, over a hill in front of him he saw several stone slabs standing at the top of the hill. Although the traveler was tired, he made his way to the new objects out of pure curiosity.

Step by step, each one was a blow to his morale as he trudged up the the desert obstacle. Before the last step was made he saw the top, and with it the vast expance of desert that stretched in all directions. It was then that he saw it. The mountain. The only symbol of of beauty in this dry wasteland. At its top was a light, a light which signaled his goal. It was his destionation. His calling. This is the travelers journey.
